Dedicated to the advancement of education through reading
What do we do
We buy or receive books of various types (reading, poetic, novels, theater, academic, etc.) that send to you in Cameroon. The books we send to Cameroon can come from purchases of new or used books, as well as donations from libraries, schools or any natural or legal person in Canada or elsewhere in the world.
We plan, pay shipping costs and manage the shipment of books purchased or collected to Cameroon. The books are transported to Cameroon by available and accessible means of transport (boats, planes, etc.)
We make books purchased and collected in Canada and elsewhere in the world available free of charge to the population in Cameroon. They are distributed to libraries in schools and to community associations which help young people.
The books will be sent approximately three to four times a year.
In Cameroon, the books are received by an intermediary, a representative of the Je lis, Je m’épanouis association who is responsible for sending them to previously chosen schools and community associations.
